Since its initial construction in the late 1980’s, Summerlin Parkway has played a vital role in the transportation infrastructure of Las Vegas. Summerlin Parkway was initially constructed to Town Center Drive as a Special Improvement District (SID) by the Summerlin Homeowner Association (HOA). Subsequent phases including the Buffalo Drive Interchange, Rampart Boulevard Interchange, extension from Crestdale Lane Overpass, Town Center Drive to CC 215, Anasazi Drive Interchange and Durango Drive Interchange, have been designed and constructed by the City of Las Vegas with funding by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.
